Sash guide
A sash absorbs the bonuses of a weapon or body armour and gives you a share of them equal to its absorb rate. A sash is only as good as its rate.
Sash grades
| Grade | Absorb rate |
|---|---|
| Simple | 1% |
| Elegant | 5% |
| Noble | 10% |
| Personalised | 11% – 25% |
Absorbing bonuses
In the Absorb Bonuses into Sash window, put the sash in the first slot and the equipment in the second. The sash must be empty. Only weapons and body armour can be absorbed; helmets, shields, shoes and jewellery cannot. The absorbed item is consumed and its bonuses move to the sash at the absorb rate.
A Sash Bonus Removal Scroll clears the absorbed bonuses and keeps the grade and rate; the absorbed item does not come back.
Combining
Combine two sashes of the same grade to try for the next grade: Simple to Elegant, Elegant to Noble, Noble to Personalised. Each attempt has a 45% chance. On failure the second sash is destroyed and the first is kept.
A new Personalised sash rolls an 11% to 20% rate (mostly 11–16%). Combining two Personalised sashes raises the rate: 60% chance at 11–16%, 50% at 17–18%, 20% at 19%, 10% at 20–24%, up to a maximum of 25%.
Getting a sash
A Sash Box gives a random sash, and a Sash Design is used to craft a Sash Box.
