Class guide: Warrior, Ninja, Sura, Shaman and Lycan
Kyrin2 has five classes. Each one picks a training at level 5 and fights with that training's six skills; the Lycan has a single path.
Warrior, Ninja, Sura and Shaman can be male or female; the Lycan has one look. When you create a character you join one of three kingdoms: Shinsoo (south), Chunjo (west) or Jinno (east). Characters level up to 120.
Choosing a training
At level 5, visit your class teacher and choose a training. Each character can take only one, and choosing it gives you a skill point.
| Class | Training | Play style |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior | Body Combat | Blesses the sword with magic and leads in close combat. |
| Warrior | Mental Combat | Combines body energy with inner power and also strikes from range. |
| Ninja | Close Combat | Blades, stealth and poison. |
| Ninja | Ranged Combat | A master of the bow: arrow showers and poisoned arrows. |
| Sura | Weaponry | Channels magic into weapon and armour. |
| Sura | Black Magic | Fights from range with dark spells and fire spirits. |
| Shaman | Dragon Force | Attacks with dragon power; gives the party critical chance, defence and reflect. |
| Shaman | Healing | Attacks with lightning; heals the party and boosts its speed and attack. |
| Lycan | Instinct | No specialisation; fights up close with wolf skills. |
Skill tiers
Skill points take a skill up to level 17. After 17 a skill moves to the M (master) tier, at 27 to the G (grand master) tier and at 37 to the final tier; its name and icon change with each tier. Every skill has its own skill book, and the Soul Stone is used to raise grand master skills.
Resetting skills
Teachers can reset your skill points. Your character must be between level 5 and 30, and only skills below level 17 are reset. The fee starts at 5,000 Yang and rises by 200 Yang for every level above 5.
